How simo works

What simo is

• simo is a free trading game. You trade real Solana coins at real market prices, but with paper money.
• It costs nothing to play. There is nothing to buy.
• Each season, the top traders on the leaderboard can win prizes. See Prizes and who can win.
• simo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by pump.fun, Phantom, Privy, Jupiter or any coin listed.

Paper money only

• Every account starts each season with $10,000 of paper cash. It has no value. You can't deposit it, withdraw it or exchange it.
• Trades are simulated. They never touch the blockchain and never move real crypto.
• simo never holds your money or your crypto. We will never ask you to send funds, approve a transaction or share your seed phrase.
• Everything is labelled PAPER. If a screen asks you to send crypto to "trade" on simo, it is not us.

Invite codes

simo is open to everyone right now. You don't need an invite code. If we ever turn invite codes back on, the app will ask for one before your first trade.

Which coins you can trade

Only coins that launched on pump.fun and graduated to their own trading pool, and that are big enough to give realistic fills:

The list refreshes every 5 minutes. If a coin drops below the rules it becomes sell-only: you keep your position and can sell it, but nobody can open new buys. A listed coin is not a recommendation. These coins move fast, and 50–100% daily swings are normal.

How fills work

• Price impact is real. Your fill is calculated against the coin's actual pool size, so a $5,000 order in a small pool fills at a worse price than a $50 order. The trade panel shows the estimate before you confirm.
• Fees: a simulated 1% simo fee plus the pool's own fee (about 0.25%). Fees are counted in your cost basis, which means a position bought and sold at the same price shows a small loss.
• Orders are rejected when the price is more than 15 seconds old, when your order would move the price more than 8%, when it exceeds your cash, or when it's over the $10,000 per-order cap.
• Your order fills at the next price. An order fills at the first price we fetch for that coin after you place it, usually within a few seconds, and you can't sell a coin within 30 seconds of your last buy of it.
• Double-clicks are safe: each order has an ID, so it can only fill once.
• Cost basis is a weighted average. Selling part of a position realizes profit or loss on that part only.

Feed, follow and copy

• Your paper trades appear in the public feed under your handle. Theses (one-line posts) can only be written on coins you currently hold.
• Follow a trader to filter the feed to people you follow.
• Copy a trader: when they buy, you automatically paper-buy the same coin with your chosen size, at the price you get on the next price update after their buy. Never their price. Sells are not copied; you decide when to exit.

Sign-in and wallets

• You sign in with a Solana wallet. Phantom is the main one; Solflare and Backpack also work.
• To sign in, you sign a short message. It is a free signature, not a transaction, and it cannot move funds.
• Signing in this way also verifies your wallet. Prizes are sent to this wallet.
• One wallet per account, one account per person. A wallet already used by another simo account can't be verified again.

The leaderboard

• Seasons run for 7 days. Everyone starts the season at $10,000.
• You are ranked by account value: paper cash plus what your open positions would pay if you sold them now, after price impact and fees. A coin with no live price counts at the last price we saw for it (shown as "last price"), or at $0 if we never had one. The board refreshes every 15 seconds.
• You appear on the board after your first trade. If two traders have the same account value, the one with fewer trades ranks higher.
• When the season ends, trading stops and the season closes automatically. The final board is frozen and the next season starts right away.
• For the final board, each open position is valued at the lower of the coin's current price and its median price over the last 15 minutes, so a pump in the closing minutes doesn't win the season.

Prizes and who can win

[DRAFT] No purchase necessary. simo is free. You never pay to play or to win, and buying anything does not improve your chances.

[DRAFT] Void where prohibited. The prize promotion is void where the law prohibits or restricts it. You can still play simo there, but you can't win a prize.

Some seasons have a prize pool and some don't. When a season has one, we show the amount in the app. The pool is split between the top eligible traders. Today the split is 40%, 25%, 15%, 10% and 10% across the top 5:

Who can win

To win a prize, all of these must be true at the end of the season:

• You have a verified Solana wallet on your account. Signing in with your wallet verifies it.
• Your verified wallet's first on-chain transaction is at least 30 days old; until we have checked it, the app shows "wallet age not checked yet". New wallets can still play, they just can't win yet.
• You made at least 10 trades of $50 or more in the season. Buys and sells both count; copy trades don't.
• Your account value is at or above $10,000 (breakeven or better). If you lost money, you can't win, even if you rank high.
• You accepted these terms and confirmed you are 18 or older.
• You live somewhere this kind of prize promotion is allowed.
• You are not an employee or contractor of simo.
• You have not been removed for cheating (see Cheating).

X account rule (currently off). We can also require a linked X account that is at least 30 days old. This rule is switched off right now. If we switch it on, we will say so in the app before the season starts.

How places are decided

• Prize places go to eligible traders only, in leaderboard order. If someone above you isn't eligible, you move up a prize place.
• If fewer than 5 traders are eligible, the unused places are not paid out. That money rolls into the next season's prize pool.
• A prize place whose winner has a cheating flag (see Cheating), or who shares a network with a higher prize place, is held until a person reviews it; it is then paid, or, if refused, rolls into the next prize pool.

How winners are paid

• Prizes are paid by hand by the owner of simo, to the verified wallet on the winner's account. simo does not pay prizes automatically.
• Before paying, we check the top of the board for cheating (see below). We may ask a winner to confirm who they are and that they are eligible.

• [DRAFT] Taxes. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prizes.
• [DRAFT] Changes to prizes. We can change, pause or cancel a prize, or a season's prize pool, before the season starts. Once a season has started, we will only cancel or change its prizes if the law requires it, or because of a major technical failure or cheating. If we do, we will say why.

Cheating

These get an account removed from the prize ranking, and any prize is withheld:

• Running more than one account, or sharing or selling accounts.
• Bots, scripts or automated trading.
• Exploiting bugs, stale prices or price-feed glitches.
• Working with others to manipulate the rankings.

Before each payout, our system flags accounts that often trade the same coin, in the same direction, within seconds of each other, and accounts that signed in from the same network, and very fast big wins on thin coins. A flag does not remove anyone by itself, but a flagged winner's prize is held until a person has reviewed it.

A removal stays on the account for later seasons until we lift it.

If you find a bug, report it. We would rather fix it and thank you than ban you.

Terms of use

1. Who we are. simo is run by [OWNER: fill in legal entity name]. "We" and "us" in these terms means them.
2. The service. simo is a simulated trading game. We never buy, sell, hold or move real crypto for you. Paper balances and positions have no value and can't be cashed out.
3. [DRAFT] Not financial advice. Nothing on simo is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. That includes coin listings, the leaderboard, other people's trades, theses and copy trading. Paper results don't predict real results. Real trading has fees, slippage and risks that simo doesn't fully copy.
4. [DRAFT] Age 18+. You must be 18 or older to use simo. You must also be allowed to use it where you live.
5. Your account. Keep your wallet secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
6. Your content. You are responsible for your theses and your profile. No harassment, spam, impersonation, scams or illegal content. Don't promote a coin you are paid to promote without saying so. You let simo show your handle, trades and posts inside the service.
7. Prizes. Prizes follow the rules in Prizes and who can win, How winners are paid and Cheating, plus any rules we announce for a season.
8. Prices and errors. Prices come from third-party market data. They can be late, wrong or missing. We may fix trades filled at clearly wrong prices, reset seasons, or change the listing rules. simo is provided "as is", without warranties.
9. Liability. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for any loss from real trades you make after using simo.

Your data

What we store

• Your Solana wallet address.
• Your handle and bio.
• Your paper trades, positions, theses, likes, follows and copy settings.
• A snapshot of your account value every 10 minutes, and which days you used simo.
• When you accepted the terms, which version, and that you confirmed you are 18+.
• The IP address you signed in from, each time you sign in with your wallet. We use it for security and to spot cheating.
• A one-way hash of your IP address. We use it to spot several accounts on the same network.
• If you link an X account: your X user ID, X handle and the date the X account was created.
• If you used an invite code: the code and any badge it gave you.
• Season results, including your wallet address and any prize paid.

We do not ask for your email, name or seed phrase.

What is public

Your handle, bio, join date, a shortened form of your wallet address, your linked X handle, your paper trades and positions, your account value over time, your theses, your rank and your follower counts.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We share only what is needed with the companies that run our hosting and, if you use it, our sign-in provider (Privy). We also share data when the law requires it.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account (see Contact). We may keep season results and payout records where we need them for accounting, the law or fraud checks.

Risk notice

Meme coins are extremely risky. Most lose most of their value, many go to zero, and prices can move 50% or more in minutes. A good paper record does not mean you'll make money with real funds. Real trades suffer worse fills, failed transactions, scams and emotions that a simulator can't reproduce. Never trade money you can't afford to lose.

Changes

We may update these terms, the prize rules and this privacy notice. The version date is shown at the top of the terms. If we make an important change, we will ask you to accept the new version before you keep trading.
